Raymond Samuel is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of LongLake Data, a company he founded in 2017 with a mission to help organizations harness the transformative power of data and AI. Prior to founding LongLake, Raymond worked as a consultant for industry leaders such as Microsoft, Databricks, and Cloudera, where he developed a deep technical foundation and a clear vision for the future of data-driven innovation.
Driven by a passion for technology and a belief in the potential of AI to create real-world impact, Raymond was inspired by the energy and innovation he saw at Databricks. That inspiration led to the creation of LongLake Data—an organization dedicated 100% to the Databricks ecosystem and to helping clients build scalable, intelligent solutions.
Raymond is certified in Databricks Lakehouse, Generative AI, Databricks Engineering, and Databricks Architecture. His expertise spans modern data platforms, cloud engineering, and production-grade AI systems.
He is especially passionate about applying technology to improve healthcare, with a vision to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. At the heart of his work is a commitment to helping customers achieve better results through thoughtful design, strategic guidance, and cutting-edge engineering.
